I was accidently watch this series with my family.. 1 episode je, then sambung lagi next episode dan marathon the whole day and ignored everything around me just to watch Julia Garner played as Anna Delvey. Mula-mula rasa annoying dengan muka narcissist dia tapi lama-lama suka tengok dia sebab dia cute.
Inventing Anna, about the con artist inspired by the story of Anna Sorokin or better known as Anna Delvey. This series based on true story and articles from journalist, Jessica Pressler " How Anna Delvey Tricked New York's Party People". Anna awaits trail for stole a private jet, and bilked banks, hotels and associates out of about $200,000. She did attempted to secure $25 million fund to create an exclusive arts club. She deceived Manhattan's elite into believing she was a German heiress worth $60 million euros.
Oh well.. let's proceed with the conclusions:-
1. At first I was so annoying with the overacting 'memek muka' journalist. Towards the end of the story pun still tak berapa berkenan dengan dia punya character. Tak sure sama ada the real Vivien Kent macam tu atau tidak
2. RACHEL WILLIAM WAS A VICTIM. Tapi kenapa netflix or kawan-kawan termasuk journalist treat dia macam dia pula scammer? Dia lalui trauma dan nighmare selama menunggu Anna bayar balik hutang card syarikat dan almost hiilang kerja. They shouldn't treat her like someone who betrayed her friend. Anna plan to manipulated kawan-kawan dan fulfill impian dia untuk ke Morocco but unfortunely, Rachel je yang ada masa tu. Nasib baik photographer ada selamatkan Rachel.
3. Anna & the whole shows macam keep telling us that Anna is a smart & brilliant. What smart and brilliant? Anna betrayed everybody she ever met and I believe she a sociopath. and last-last dia sendiri percaya dengan pembohongan diri dia sendiri, macam lawyer Mr. Todds cakap kan. She is literally a surly, disagreeable, unattractive and not nearly as smart as she thinks she is.
4. Suka part Anna & bf Neff masa diorang pursue Neff untuk tinggalkan benda yang buang masa dan kejar cita-cita. Betullah tu.. kalau termenung dan mengira burung lalu depan kita setiap hari tanpa bergerak seinci pun, baik tak perlu ada impian. Cuma sekadar habiskan masa & space di bumi yang makin sempit ni je dan baik tanam cita-cita nak mati lebih awal.
5. I puji Anna sebab tak kikis dan mengharapkan duit lelaki, macam si Simon yang tipu perempuan for his lifestyle tu. Tu scammer tak ada maruah!
